Optometrist & Owner

Dr. Steve Looysen grew up in Carrington and graduated from High School there.  He completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Premedicine with honors at North Dakota State University and was a Distinguished Military Graduate in the ROTC program.

Dr. Alex is a Jamestown native who joined his father in practice in June of 2019. It had been his dream from a young age to become an Optometrist, after watching Dr. Steve Looysen, his father, provide high quality eyecare and build lasting patient relationships.  Dr. Alex strives to give his patients the best possible vision and eyecare while building patient relationships in a welcoming environment.
